Morbagh means Peacock and Garden
Morbagh Eco Haveli, perched in the simmered embrace of Mandawa, Rajasthan, is more than simply a haweli—it is a window to a period when life went at the pace of the wind, laughter echoed in open courtyards, and the warmth of a home was a way of life, not just a feeling.
The story line of Morbagh starts with a pie in the sky. Its founders, Jessica Amita and Virendra have two different backgrounds (she’s half Italian, half French and he’s Indian) but they shared the best of their experiences to create a place where the spirit could breathe and reconnect with the beauty of simplicity.
Our inspiration stemmed from his childhood memories such as the earthy aroma of rain-soaked mud, the chatter of sparrows at dawn, and the golden hues of sunshine streaming through windows.
The name Mor Bagh which combines the word “Mor” (Peacock) and Bagh (garden), carries the reverberations of the past. Together they bring to light a work of art that conjures the opulence of the most vivid colours seen in nature. It’s more than just a sobriquet, it’s an emotion, a hankering for the good old days when each petal had a story to tell and each colour had a significance.

We are happy to welcome you in our charming haveli, just 4 km far from Mandawa, known as the “open air art gallery of Rajasthan”, famous for its old havelis exquisitely decorated with old frescos .
Arranged around a lush green garden, our rooms offer a traditional, typical rajasthani atmosphere, with all the modern comforts.
